Cheryl,

Thank you for your feedback.  As I shared in our messaging, I am very sorry we didn’t meet your expectations. That being said, I feel the need to address your comments here.

  1. Passover ended on Tuesday evening, April 30. Your singular request was that the gift arrive before the end of Passover, and it arrived on Monday, April 29, so we accomplished exactly what you requested.  You did not suggest or request expedited shipping of any kind.
  2. You placed your order very early Tuesday morning on April 23. As a courtesy, I reached out to immediately in the morning when we opened asking if you wanted to upgrade your shipping.  I did not hear back from you all day.  My team worked extremely hard to ship your gift out the SAME DAY you placed your order knowing how important it was to arrive before the end of the holiday.  And I shared that news with you, and that it was scheduled to be delivered on Friday, April 26, and you thanked us.
  3. We shipped your order via UPS, which is an upgrade from, and more expensive than, USPS.
  4. Your package was scheduled to be delivered by UPS on Friday, April 26. UPS experienced unforeseen delays, which can happen with both standard and expedited shipping, and as it was scheduled for a Friday, they delivered on Monday.
  5. Per your request, as a courtesy, I spent time the Saturday before delivery crafting an e-mail to your recipient sharing with them that a gift was on its way with pictures of the gift and including your gift note.
  6. We did acknowledge how important this was by reaching out to you immediately when we opened, rushing to ship the same day, sharing the scheduled delivery date, staying in contact regularly after the order was delayed, sending an e-mail to your gift recipient, and asking what we could do to make this right, which you never answered.
As I noted, your singular request was that the gift be delivered before the end of the holiday, and we accomplished that. I am sorry we didn’t meet your expectations. I wish you all the best.
